Adopt and Adapt

Into a family. Into a country. Into our true selves. Our first in-person live event since before the pandemic, “Adopt and Adapt” explores perceptions of adoption while the audience takes a parallel active journey roaming the space on an immersive tour of art and music.

Program includes two commissioned world premieres by MARIA FINKELMEIER and JONATHAN BAILEY HOLLAND, along with music by SARAH HENNIES, FRED ONEVWERUOSOKE, and FABIOLA MÉNDEZ and performances by pianist SARAH BOB, violinists GABRIELA DÍAZ and LILIT HARTUNIAN, violist ASHLEIGH GORDON, cellist DAVID RUSSELL, percussionists STEPH DAVIS and AARON TRANT, THE FABIOLA MÉNDEZ TRIO and THE FISHER/LAU PROJECT.
